Orientierungskurs (2019–2020) is a series of drawings by Dan Allon created while studying German in Berlin from A1 to B2 level. Produced during classes and practice sessions, the works combine cartoons, sketches, and language exercises with reflections on German culture and history. Mixing personal observations with themes of Jewish identity, immigration, and daily life, the series documents both the experience of learning a new language and a visually driven, highly sensitive approach to absorbing knowledge.
