Graphic Essays - Academic Comics in Two Part, 148 page, 2025

The texts in this book are the result of academic research combined with visual art in an innovative, genre-crossing format that is accessible to any reader. The studies are the product of two years of work and were created as part of an MFA program in Art at the University of Haifa.

The first of the two essays is a historical and social document that traces the chilling and largely untold story of Jewish women who were trafficked for prostitution in the early twentieth century by Jews in Argentina.

The second essay offers a personal-psychological perspective on comics as a tool for coping with high sensory sensitivity (HSP), revealing the medium’s unique capacity to convey experiences and sensations that cannot be expressed through words alone.
