Dan Allon's father grew up in Morocco, being a descendant of a Spanish family. For "Visiting the Ghosts of Mrs. Swissa (Part 1)", Dan Allon mixes images from his father's family album, and images of dictatorship from the two countries. Inspired by black and white photos, the drawings blend into one scenario, revealing an intimate look into the family life under a fictional dictatorship regime. During the show other artists conducted performance pieces: Bernadette La Hengst, Chris Wood & Vincent Charlebois.

Visiting the ghost of Mrs. Swissa (part II) — Dan Allon / an exhibition during Sound Development City in Casablanca (Morocco), September 2016, Hôtel Central

Dan Allon's father grew up in Morocco, being a descendant of a Spanish family. For "Visiting the Ghosts of Mrs. Swissa (Part 2)", Dan Allon mixes images from his father's family album, and images of dictatorship from the two countries. Inspired by black and white photos, the drawings blend into one scenario, revealing an intimate look into the family life under a fictional dictatorship regime.

This part of the project emphasized the performative aspects of the story. Allon created an imaginary scenario at the hotel room, having guests, one by one, for tea and music, while the drawings were a part of the surrounding. He was quite & strict, almost the opposite to what is perceived to be "typical Moroccan hospitality".
